ABOUT BRITT
Britt Raes is a Belgian director, illustrator, screenwriter and teacher. She creates cute characters and grim stories for kids and adults alike. Her debut short film Catherine (2016) and her second short film Luce and the Rock (2022) took part in over 200 festivals and together collected over 80 prizes at Berlinale, Cinequest, Ottawa, Cinanima, IndieLisboa.
Her films are shown in the institutions of education, on international television and in cinemas. Britt is currently working on a children's series and developing a short film for adults. In addition to independent work, she also works on commission, teaches at KASK - School of the Arts and is a board member of the Flemish Director's Union.
